BAKLAVA - is a rich, sweet filo pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey or syrup. Beside fact that the history of baklava is not well-know it is characteristic of the cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire and much of central and southwest Asia. This earliest known version of baklava was baked only on special occasions. In fact, historically baklava was considered a food for the rich until mid-19th century. Today there are many variations of baklava's recipe and every ethnic cuisine has a favourite secret to make it perfected taste and texture. However Baklava is sticky, sweet and very delicious.

Olives

OLIVES- are a species of a small tree native to the Mediterranean, Asia and Africa. There are green when unripe and black when ripe. The olive requires a long, hot growing season to properly ripen the fruit. Over the years, the olives were valued as a symbol of peace, wisdom, glory, fertility, power and pureness. Olives are used for food and for oil and there are a host of health benefits. Olives are rich in iron, vitamin E and copper, and are a good source of fiber. Turkish Delight

TURKISH DELIGHT, Originally came from Turkey where is called Lokum. Turkish delight is a confection made from starch and sugar. It has a soft, jelly-like and sometimes sticky texture. It is often flavored with rose water, which gives characteristic pink colour. Lokum is eaten in small cubes dusted with icing sugar. Common types of Turkish delight include flavors such as lemon, orange and mint. Other types contain small pieces of pistachio, hazelnut or walnut.
